“Hope” is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -
And never stops - at all -
And sweetest - in the Gale - is heard -
And sore must be the storm -
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm -
I’ve heard it in the chillest land -
And on the strangest Sea -
Yet - never - in Extremity,
It asked a crumb - of me.

While in Finland, I proposed to my conlang partner @quothalinguist, and she accepted. :)
This is good advice, but also why this picture?
It’s hard for two horses to be intimate when there’s an erupting volcano nearby. What’s not clicking

No, it was 1973. Just because you didn't watch it until last year doesn't mean it's only a year old

Hello, I hope this does not come out as weird, but I wanted to say I really admire your work. I’m a newly graduated linguist and I always wished to create a language for a fantasy setting (I was a huge Tolkien nerd). Your work in GoT was a huge inspiration for me when I entered uni five years ago, and I actually wrote a paper on dothraki's phonology for a class (and it was one of the papers I enjoyed writing the most).
I hope you have a nice day/night!
Well, that’s very delightful to hear. :) I don’t know if you have any plans for that paper, but I’m always happy to post work like that on Fiat Lingua. If you think you’d be interested in that, feel free to reach out!
